The Carlos Slim Foundation and the TELMEX Telcel Foundation started today the delivery of 26 tons of humanitarian aid among inhabitants of popular sectors in Acapulco, who were impacted by Hurricane Otis.
This aid distribution, supported by a network of volunteers from the TELMEX Telcel foundations and Telmex staff, included:
- 4000 food boxes
- 4000 blankets
- 4000 sleeping mats
- 8100 gallons of water
Additionally, eight water potabilization plants were installed, aiming to provide this precious resource to people impacted by the meteorological phenomenon.
